The benefits to an organisation are huge with employers finding that by upskilling on-site experts, training becomes more focused and task specific rather then generic. They have also found that it is a clever way of re-inforcing company policies through targeted training.

Key benefits include;

Career development for individuals who become the on-site experts

On the job experience being rechannelled within the workforce

1 to 1 training with immediate feedback and appraisals

Introduction of a new technique that teaches students to be teachers themselves

Single investment on training that brings long term advantages

Glancing through a list of prominent providers, it seems the usual training specialists such as TutorCare and High Speed Training all now offer alternatives within the theme with some websites such as CareTrainTheTrainer.co.uk actively covering niche markets relating to training in the care sector.

A list of various courses and providers can be seen below;

Summary;

The best assets of any company are their employees. By utilising the train the trainer teaching mechanism businesses can cover four basic needs with a single course aimed at an individual member of staff reducing costs and increasing effectiveness.

These are;

Leveraging existing workforce.

A healthy and safe atmosphere exerts positivity and relaxation
irrespective of the fact whether it’s your workplace or your home.
However, employers need to take special care for the health, safety, and
well-being of their employees. Not only does it increase the
productivity of their employees but it is an obligation that they must
follow and non-adherence to it can get them in trouble legally.
Apart from legal restrictions, providing a healthy and safe
environment to the employees should be the top-most priority of the
employer owing to the following reasons.

There are many benefits that an employer can derive by giving their
employees a safe and healthy environment. Some of these benefits include
positive work environment, lower staff turnover, enhanced productivity
etc.

The main benefit of keeping the office atmosphere safe comes in the
form of enhanced productivity of employees. This brings with it
workplace positivity and offers employees a relaxed environment in the
knowledge that they are not at risk. An office that is fully equipped
with safety measures and employees that understand their responsibility
(and yours as employer) will help them focus on their own abilities
resulting in increased productivity.

Any accident in the office premises can cost the employer a lot
financially and if in an unfortunate case of the accident an employee
gets injured, the severity of the problem increases dramatically. The
financial loss will depend on the accident, but the cost of injury to
the employee will have to be borne by the employer. A safe and secure
environment will reduce the insurance cost a great deal.

A workplace with no proper health and safety maintenance will
definitely see a lot of employees quitting the work for better
prospects. No person likes to work in an environment where they are not
provided with proper safety gear or equipment. The employer ultimately
is responsible for this. If there is heavy machinery installed in the
workplace, it is the duty of the employer to check all the security
concerns associated with it, ensuring it is well maintained. It is also
their responsibility to communicate the safety precautions to the
employees for their well-being as well as making them understand the
implications of ignoring any safety guidelines.

The employer needs to address all the risks and concerns associated
with the office premises, the business, subcontractors and employees. It
is useful in most cases to assign an individual to oversee all health
and safety aspects within the business. Training can then be brought
in-house not only for the employees but also the designated Health and
Safety person.

Not offering a safe, secure, and healthy environment to the employees
will have the employer’s reputation at stake. Accidents can ruin
reputations as well as lives. The following courses offered by Online Care Courses
online will discuss the reasons and importance of why employee’s safety
and health should be the first priority for any employer.
Spanish I think will be my weapon of choice and based on the trial I've just completed I have to say I'm quite impressed by their site and App at https://uk.babbel.com/. They offer a wide range of languages and have a fair pricing system. I'm just waiting until I move house before I take the ultimate plunge but for the time being I recommend signing up for a free trail as they then offer discounted deals such as "12 months for the price of 6" if you don't commit right away.

Will let you know how it goes when I get around to paying for one of their courses.Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11649306797184353507noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5158031926562483312.post-88820647607595100842017-05-16T12:19:00.000+01:002017-09-06T15:16:43.275+01:00Online Care CoursesI have started writing FAQ's for Online Care Courses. Mental health training is now seen as a viable way of increasing productivity in the work force. Mental health and wellbeing is as important for employers as employees, with an estimated 1 in 5 of their workforce now affected by a mental health problem.
I hadn't actually stumbled across Medium before reading his post on setting goals in his personal life. For a blogging platform it's pretty clean and from what I've seen it seems pretty popular and is growing by the day.

Anyway, his article on "An Example of Goal Setting" breaks down pretty neatly how to set goals and apply them in a realistic way to your overall aims and objectives. This one uses his love of cycling as the focus but I'm sure anyone that is looking to hone those planning skills will see how his techniques can be used for any realworld exercise. To read his blog on Medium.com go here - https://medium.com/@garethdavies and visit google docs here for the article itself "An Example of Goal Setting for the slowest cyclist in the North East"Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11649306797184353507noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5158031926562483312.post-1879919859307686522016-09-06T15:00:00.000+01:002016-09-15T11:53:42.855+01:00Lindsay does languagesWith the new academic term under way (university students starting soon), I've started looking at courses and blogs that may help fellow readers online. One aspect that isn't covered that often is regarding Anaphylactic shock and what to do.
It states it covers 40,000 courses based on MOOC. MOOC stands for Massive Open Online Course and are available to anyone with internet access. MOOCs tend to be free and are taught by a number of organisations as a way of enticing you to sign up for other paid courses they offer.

I tried the search based on Business > Leadership and it seems to be a useful tool. Site is nice and clean too.
providers. Offering 600+ courses in-house, online and through training
centres nationwide they have a reputation for delivering training across the UK.

One of the latest offerings I've found online is their Emergency First Aid Awareness course and compliments a number of other courses offered direct by them in the area of first aid.

This online training programme is designed to offer flexibility to those with a busy workload. Allowing access for 12 months the E-Learning Emergency First Aid and Awareness course costs as little as £39. At the end of the course a certificate confirming completion is then provided.
